You know we tend to be too hard on ourselves when it comes to how we view our success in this life. We are the first to pick out the flaws, the first to point to the past failures, and the least to even think of taking a compliment from someone. We basically do not keep a good outlook or view of ourselves as God's children. But how does God, your Heavenly Father see you? Does He picture you as a failure, or a success waiting to happen? Does He remember all of your sins and past failures, or does He look with anticipation to your future victories? The bible tells us that He is so much like earthly fathers and mothers...He sees the best in His kids. It does not matter what my kids do....when I look at them, I only see the good...I anticipate their future...I spur them on to upcoming victories. We look at them through eyes of love. That is exactly how God sees us...His children. He sees love, promise, potential, victory, plans for His kids. His word says that if a earthly father can give good gifts to his children, how much more so will your Heavenly Father give good gifts to His children (paraphrased). So, ease up on yourself and begin to see yourself and others through His eyes of love. Enjoying Life Today! Stan.
