If you have ever experienced turbulence in your life, then this reflection is for you. I have experienced turbulence in my life...we all do. Sometimes it feels like it just comes out of nowhere, and that it is going to last forever. I remember flying on a turbo prop plane, years ago, headed to Memphis. I was sitting in the very back of the plane, in the last seat...(by the bathroom....lol!) In the middle of the flight, the little plane started shaking violently and I proceded to have a Fred Sanford moment...(anybody know what I am talking about?) My first inclination was to panic...and then all of a sudden, I heard the pilot's voice over the intercom say that we were going to be in turbulence for a while due to a thunder storm. And then he put me at ease when he further stated that we would be fine as we eventually would climb in altitude above it. So whatever turbulence you may be experiencing in your life today...hear your pilot whisper those words of comfort and peace that you will rise above the storm into calm and peace. The last part of vs. 6 of Philippians 4 says..."and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Enjoying life today....Stan
