Not Enough Time

The issue that comes to my mind this evening is time.

You always hear people saying that they just do not have enough hours in the day to accomplish it all. I certainly feel that way at times. The challenges of our days and the unexpected events steal time from us without an apology.

But, more importantly, we do not have much time left regarding heavenly things. The book of Matthew reminds us that..."the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the earth, and then the end will come." We are running out of time to get the gospel out.

How much time have you put into Kingdom business today? Have you preached your sermon today? Did your life bare a striking resemblance to that of Christ...or did they see you as just good old so and so who kind of blends in to the crowd?

We say it so cavalier that He is coming back for us...that time is running out. But the truth is for a number of us...is that we have allowed another 8 hours in this day to disappear...and what did we contribute to the gospel? Did you live today like Christ was coming today?
